How to Change the Number of Related Products in WooCommerce Themes atau Merubah jumlah related produk pada Themes WooCommerce

Bagi pengguna themes WooCommerce khususnya yang responsive pasti sering mengeluhkan loading page yang cukup lama. Hal itu biasanya terjadi pada halaman single product dimana as default terdapat sampai dengan 20 related product yang ada khususnya bagi website yang memiliki jumlah produk yang banyak.

Berikut ini saya sadurkan artikel yang menjelaskan cara merubah jumlah related produk pada Themes WooCommerce, silakan dibaca dengan baik.

The related products number is determined by a function in your Theme Functions (functions.php), which you can edit under Appearance → Editor.

This is considered a modification, so do it at your own risk! Make a backup of your existing file so you can replace it if something goes wrong and you need to start over.  Modified files WILL probably be replaced by a theme update at some point so keep note of your changes for future reference. Please note that we cannot assist you with modifying your theme or support problems you encounter as a result!

Go to the very bottom of the file and place your cursor after the } at the end and hit enter to create a new line.

Copy the following and paste into the new line:

// Redefine woocommerce_output_related_products()
function woocommerce_output_related_products() {
woocommerce_related_products(2,2); // Display 3 products in rows of 3
}

Change 2,2 to your desired number. The number of columns should not exceed 4. So if you wanted 4 columns in one row, it would be:

// Redefine woocommerce_output_related_products()
function woocommerce_output_related_products() {
woocommerce_related_products(4,1); // Display 3 products in rows of 3
}

Make sure there is not a blank line at the bottom of the file, then click Update File.
